PropertiesInVenezuela.com and its sister sites (MargaritaIslandProperties.com, MargaritaIslandVenezuela.com, PlayaElYaqueHotels.com and PorlamarVenezuela.com) are operated by MacroSeer Inc., 5351 Main St, Waitsfield, Vermont 05673, United States. This page explains what data we receive, what we use it for, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we receive
- Buyer inquiries: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, budget, timeline and the message you write.
- Properties sent by agents or owners, by form or by WhatsApp: the text, photos, voice notes and documents you send, and your name and contact details.
- Requests to claim an agent profile or remove a listing: the contact you give and your request.
- Email subscriptions: your email address.
- The minimal technical data any website receives (IP address and browser) in our hosting provider's logs.
WhatsApp messages
- If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your number, your profile name and whatever you send (text, photos, voice notes, documents). We use it to create or update the listing you ask us to publish and to reply to you in the same chat.
- We only message you first if you agreed to it when sending a property: once a month, to ask whether it is still available. Reply BORRAR or "no me escriban" and we stop.
- Messages are sent and received through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, which handles that data under its own terms.
What we use it for
- Publishing listings and keeping them current, translated into English and Spanish.
- Answering buyer inquiries and, once the listing's agent has claimed their profile, passing the inquiry to that agent so they can help the buyer directly.
- Sending the emails you asked for (replies, confirmation links, the newsletter).
- Detecting duplicate listings, fraud and abuse.
Who we share it with
- The agent behind the listing you asked about, and only after that agent has confirmed who they are by claiming their profile.
- The providers that run the service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email), Meta (WhatsApp), Anthropic (AI text processing) and OpenAI (voice-note transcription). They receive only what they need to provide that service.
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Artificial intelligence
- We use AI systems to transcribe voice notes, extract property details, translate, and draft replies. Listings imported this way carry the "AI Imported" label and are never presented as verified.
Cookies
- We do not use advertising cookies. We set a 90-day cookie when you arrive through a partner's link, to credit the referral, plus the cookies needed to sign in to our internal tools.
How long we keep it and how to delete it
- We keep data for as long as it is needed for the purpose you gave it to us for. You can ask us at any time for a copy, a correction or deletion.
- To remove a listing or profile, use the removal page. For anything else, email eric@macroseer.com. We respond within 30 days.
Changes
- If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date above.
